Sterling silver plated in 18k gold
Gold vermeil pieces start with high quality .925 sterling silver base. A thick layer of liquid gold, of at least 2.5 microns is then electroplated onto the silver. Gold vermeil is a type of gold jewellery made to last. While it may sound like gold-plated jewellery, it is less likely to fade, tarnish, or wear off. We proudly use recycled gold vermeil for all of our pieces.
Gold vermeil jewellery requires extra special care to preserve its appearance and longevity. Avoid direct contact with water, cosmetics and chemical products.
Due to the nature of this finish, some customers may experience natural wear over time.
