warehouse assistant – picker & packer

who are we
we are searching for a full-time warehouse assistant - picker & packer, to join our warehouse team. this position works within the bassike warehouse and will be an integral part of the receiving, storage & dispatch functions servicing our retail & wholesale customers. the successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse position, with a proven ability to work autonomously & contribute positively towards the teams outcomes. you will be a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to show initiative, to develop and maintain efficient processes & strive for continuous improvement.
the role includes, but is not limited to the following:
* warehouse management computer system use
* receiving stock
* storing stock
* accurately picking & packing orders for retail stores & wholesale customers
* RF scanning & using mobile scanners
* stocktaking
* invoicing & creating shipping labels
* stock consolidations to create space for incoming seasons
* process improvements
* other general warehouse duties
* maintain a clean, safe & fun work environment
