in june 2021, bassike was formally certified under the australian government backed climate active carbon neutral standard, covering its operational emissions including: utilities for its head office and eight retail stores; global freight between customers, partners and suppliers; staff travel and commute; paper and office equipment; consumer and supplier packaging; third party services such as cleaning and printing; and waste and recycling.

following this, in 2022, bassike achieved climate active carbon neutral certification of its signature organic cotton jersey collection. this certification signifies that the greenhouse gas emissions associated with the sourcing of raw material production, garment manufacturing, distribution, and end of life of bassike organic cotton jersey garments have been measured, reduced and offset in their entirety by carbon reduction and capturing projects.
